We offer guided and self-guided tour and rental packages on Kane'ohe Bay from He'eia State Park's pristine waterfront. Kane'ohe Bay is known for the famous, one-of-a-kind "Sunken Island" sandbar, spectacular reefs, and stunning views. Its calm, protected waters are home to Oahu's healthiest coral reef and abundant marine life. With your kayaks and gear set up right on the water's edge, He'eia State Park is the ideal location for ocean eco-adventures in Hawaii.
Kama'aina Kids has been operating waterfront and enviromental education programs on Kane'ohe Bay since 1987!
As stewards of He'eia State Park, we are proud of our partnerships with so many great organizations in the community.
We not only have excellent waterfront programs for local kids, but incredible ocean eco-adventures for local residents and visitors of all ages!
Fun, energetic, friendly, and overall great crew to have! As our first time, we were grateful for their attention to detail!
We went on the sailing and snorkel tour. Had a great time and saw sea turtles. It’s a very impressive reef. It’s a non profit and your tour money supports summer camp for kids.
We just got back from the most epic day EVER at Kaneohe Bay Sandbar for catamaran sailing and snorkeling with Holokai Kayak and Snorkel Adventure!!! Highly recommend this tour to everyone heading to Waikiki!!! We lucked out and got the boat to ourselves! Our guide Parker was absolutely AMAZING!!! So informative and fun and he took us wherever we wanted to go! We got to sail the catamaran and saw 5 ginormous manta rays and at least 10 huge sea turtles plus tonnes of fishys along the reef!!! We walked in the middle of the bay on the sandbar! Plus we had excellent weather and wind so we got sailing real fast around the whole bay! The BBQ lunch was delicious and much needed after our fun-filled adventure! So incredibly awesome!!! Thank you so very, very much to Parker and everyone at Holokai Kayak and Snorkel Adventure!!! Best day here yet!!! ♡
We received a detailed brief about all the ‘how-to’ for this trip. We are a group of girls who have no idea what we are doing and where we are heading. This was first time for all of us so imagine the nerves and excitement we got. Andy gave us a quick but detailed lesson on kayaking, gave us details on how to get to the sandbar, where to go, how to spot landmarks, etc. We had a great time there!
