In 2010, Kama’aina Kids, a local not-for-profit organization was granted a 25 year lease of He’eia State Park, an 18 acre waterfront peninsula on Kane’ohe Bay. The Holokai Kayak and Snorkel Adventure program was created to operate from the park's beautiful and unique waterfront, and offer instructional and educational eco-adventures, as well as recreational opportunities on the bay for residents and visitors alike. It's all not-for-profit! The proceeds generated from this program directly fund He’eia State Park, and allow Kama'aina Kids to continue providing the community service of being stewards of the park.
Holokai Kayak and Snorkel Adventure is dedicated to providing safe, fun, educational, eco-friendly experiences of Kane’ohe Bay for both visitors and the local community, with all proceeds benefiting Kama’aina Kids and He’eia State Park.
